30 周年晚宴致詞

 Ladies & Gentleman,

歡迎各位遠道而來, 很高興今晚能與大家在此共同慶祝 Fortron/Source 的 30 周年晚會.  各位嘉賓, 有的是與我們相處接近 30 年的貴客, 也有的是在最近十年才開始認識我們的貴賓.  無論新舊, 今晚都是我們的貴賓.

時光匆匆, 30 年前, 我剛滿30 歲.  從美國買了一張單程機票, 就勇敢地從美國來到了德國.  在這 30 年間, IT 產業的變化堪稱巨大. 它改變了我們的生活習慣, 也改變了世界的一切.  我想在座的許多朋友都記得30 年前的 Cebit.  會場上除了人聲, 它是如此的安靜, 一年又一年, 電腦有了聲, 光, 影.  一切都是如此的不同.  電腦從我們的辦公桌上, (Desktop) 走進了我們的私人空間.  (note book, tablet, mobil).  也穿戴上了我們的身體, (Watch, head set, glasses).  

環顧我們的環境, 我們何其有幸的經歷了過去 30 年的全球化, 也面對了歐盟的單一市場化, 這兩個大改變, 帶動了 Fortron/Source 的成長. 我相信, Fortron/Soruce 是一家非常幸運的公司, 因為我們有總公司 100% 的支持, 我們也有客戶們長久的支持.

未來, 世界仍然面對著激烈的轉變, 我們也將從 IT 走向 AI.  又是一番挑戰.  不過, 我相信, 在我們年輕一輩同事的努力之下, 我們一定還能期待 40 周年的 party & 50 周年的 party!  就讓你與我,  old generation & young generation 來一起努力.

Welcome everyone who has come from afar. It's a pleasure to celebrate Fortron/Source's 30th anniversary with you tonight. Dear guests, some have been with us for nearly 30 years, while others have only gotten to know us in the last decade. Whether old or new, you are all our honored guests tonight.

Time flies. Thirty years ago, I just turned 30. I bought a one-way ticket from the United States and bravely made the journey to Germany. In those 30 years, the IT industry has extremely changes. It has transformed our lifestyles and everything in the world. I believe many of you remember Cebit 30 years ago. The environment was totally quiet except people's conversation. Year after year, computers have acquired sound, light, and image. Everything is so different. Computers have moved from our desks (desktops) into our personal spaces (notebooks, tablets, mobile devices). They have also become part of our bodies (watches, headsets, glasses).

Looking around us, We have been incredibly fortunate to have experienced globalization over the past 30 years and to have also faced the EU's single market. These two major changes have driven Fortron/Source's growth. I believe Fortron/Source is a very fortunate company, as we have the 100% support of our head office and 100% from our customers too!

The world will continue to face dramatic changes in the future, and we will also be moving from IT to AI. This presents another challenge. However, I believe that with the hard work of our younger colleagues, we can certainly look forward to our 40th and 50th anniversary parties! Let's work together, you and us, the old generation and the young generation.
